Emma is very new to the Oz Wildlife Studio art classes and this is her first finished artwork which is very colourful, quirky and sensational. Emma began by doing some experiments in her visual diary using pen, ink and watercolour washes. This is the culmination of her experiments.

I love how the jester has two “sides” to perhaps suggest a “clown” side and a “serious” side.

Really effective warm and cool colours in this artwork and I love how Emma has let the colours bleed over the black lines.

This really is lovely and Emma has used clever connecting patterns radiating from the jester to merge with the patterns on the border. This is such an expressive, highly imaginative and bold artwork. Congratulations Emma!
